Outdoor ‘Community Circle’ Gathering Area:

To provide a place for large crowds to gather, to celebrate, to reflect, to connect. This space is surrounded by a gradual ramp that takes in the valley while providing a safe and secure place for people. To celebrate and embrace the heritage and culture is what this project is about, thus, to provide a place for this to happen in a setting that can accommodate very large crowds, with elevated views of the center on the circular lawn that ramps up towards the main public buildings, should be an essential component of the program. This area also acts as a way to retain any precipitation for plant care, collecting it in underground water retention tanks.

Expansion: There are multiple locations to add extensions to this composition, whether it extends the Academic and Adminstrative wings at both ends, or defines the Community Circle either on it’s interior or exterior edge. In addition, the cafe and retail space can also easily extend into the Great Lawn in a modest way depending on what the future needs require.
