Exterior Atrium: Besides the banners, each wire figure surrounding the auditorium takes on the shape of a traditional bread stove…

combined with the banners themselves one can imagine the process of making bread. Bread, a fundamental reflection of agriculture (the sewing of grain), civilization (upon cultivation of the land, people took root in fixed areas) and family (to break bread with family and friends, it is a fundamental shared necessity). With this in mind, the Exterior Atrium is the transition between spaces, and one could say a reminder of who we are as humans.
