Just finished creating a new WordPress blog for the New York Society of Renderers, Inc. with the help of a theme which features a Mingle Forum module that should be useful to members over the coming years.
The think I like about this theme in particular, and especially for this type of organization, is it’s handling of media, like renderings, video and reviews. So why help this group? Well I was once a president of it, and thus know it’s members very well. I also understand how this group can help it’s members and that those people are generally speaking, all making a living on their own. The NYSR society offers a helping hand in their promotion, and thus really helps not only their families but also helps the professional level of rendering in America. It’s always been my feeling that small efforts can have a big impact on people’s lives, and I hope this turns out to be the case for this blog, helping individual artists become successful and in return provide the world with the most beautiful renderings ever created.
