{"id":1367,"date":"2015-06-02T12:00:46","date_gmt":"2015-06-02T12:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.simpletwig.com\/blog\/?p=1367"},"modified":"2015-03-10T21:14:52","modified_gmt":"2015-03-10T21:14:52","slug":"study-of-industrial-and-military-modeling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.simpletwig.com\/blog\/study-of-industrial-and-military-modeling\/","title":{"rendered":"[rendering] Study of Industrial and Military modeling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In celebration of the upcoming D-Day ceremonies, and part of our exploration into digital rendering programs, lets take a look at some SimpleTwig\u00a0military rendering studies\u2026.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>These studies were done\u00a0to see how robust it would be in an industrial infrastructure and\/or military application, heavy on details yet still able to be explored in real time.<\/p>\n<p>If you haven&#8217;t noticed, on our blog we do a lot of exploring. In this article we are exploring different programs to see what their capabilities are. \u00a0The first set, in hidden line mode only, show an industrial harbor setting, with pipes, docks, ships, industrial buildings.<\/p>\n<p>The second set show an airbase in some foreign setting, here to see how responsive a fully developed base would interact with a very large, and explorable, terrain. \u00a0The terrain, some 50 square miles, really pushed our computer to the limits.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.simpletwig.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/harbor2a.jpg\"><img
