The Climb:  This proposal embraces the idea that one needs to ‘make the climb in order to accomplish anything in life’ and as such this is an experiential composition.

That is in addition to the physical climb to this acropolis-like site, it is laid out in a way to encourage physical movement around the entire composition, accomplished through sweeping curves and opening vistas. Echoing the footpaths in surrounding hills, our ‘paths’ follow the natural terrain providing opportunities to sit, reflect and appreciate the qualities of this special place on earth.

Water: to retain the minimal yearly precipitation in storage tanks, from the roofs, plazas, ramps, forced vertically by gravity the way the Romans did on Corsica Island (gravity pushes the water down forcing it through small tubes to the surface), to provide irrigation for our green space.
