Construction Landscape Fill: Because of the excessive waste fill that will be generated during construction,

and in conjunction with the security wall that will frame the site, this fill is used as part of the composition to sculpt the landscape, reinforcing the symbolic relationship to the green valley and sculpted mountain ranges on the slopes. This, in lieu of hauling fill off the site, will save money and result in a greater composition that makes use of all existing natural components of the site.

Security Wall:

In our proposal we frame the composition with the security wall, to bring it into the composition to serve two purposes, thus utilizing it’s functional need to the greater good. By ‘pulling it into the composition’ we make it’s perimeter length shorter, thus reducing it’s overall cost, and using it in some places as the building wall, thus saving cost of construction in two ways.
